Ancient Egyptian Museum

In Year 4 this year, we decided to make our own Ancient Egyptian museum! Pupils created artefacts, pyramids, mummies and all sorts of other wonderful Ancient Egyptian objects. The children did a lot of this at home, which showed great willingness to learn. Once the museum pieces had been created, we set up our museum in the hall, and each of the Year 4 classes showed a partner Year 3 class around the museum, telling them all about the wonders of Ancient Egypt. After school, the parents visited the museum and everyone was very impressed! So were the British Museum, who re-tweeted our tweet! All the Year 4 children worked so hard, and should be very proud of themselves – it was such a great success!
