Art Workshop
Within our latest Parents Art Workshop, parents and carers had the opportunity to learn about Colour Theory, with an emphasis on the Colour Wheel and how it can be applied to a piece of artwork. We also explored the use of paint and paintbrush techniques.
We then had the opportunity to apply this knowledge, by creating a painting inspired by patterns from around the world.
Please take the time to look through the photographs of the event and celebrate the beautiful outcomes.
Thanks to all parents who participated. It was great to se so many of your there!
A special thanks to parents who came from other schools within Tower Hamlets, namely Cayley, Smithy Street and Marian Richardson.

Autism friendly screening
Ben Jonson arranged an autism friendly screening of ‘Madagascar 2’. The afternoon was filled with fun, laughter and plenty of popcorn! All the children decorated their own popcorn cones which was very exciting to see! The children were in a relaxed atmosphere and had the option to take breaks when needed. Considering the success we have had we aim to take this project to another level by inviting other schools to our next screening which will take place during ‘Autism Awareness week’. Watch this space for more exciting news! What a great end to the half term! – Shireena
